My one is a little funny case because even I don't restrict the boost to 12Psi, it goes up to 12psi anyway after reaching 2000rpm. It spiked to 18-20Psi before 2000rpm, so I just to restrict it at 12 to completely eliminate the spike. Does any body know how to check the intake air leaking? and ...

Why are you restricting boost? If you drop the boost below the level the engine requires, your egts climb and your engine cooks. they often do it it to stop the turbo from over boosting and destroying itself. i think 12psi is a bit low, 15psi would be more like it. a lot of it is to simply take the ...

2000 safari with 3.0 deisel in it. hasn't done any thing so far.

go for a locker my friend, cost you bit more but you do get what you pay for.

TD42 are ok only with turbo.
rd28t, forget it.

Nissan autos are tough as long as you keep it cool. You need to fit the aftermarket valve kit and a bigger decent cooler.

I would suggest you go for it if you are not towing anything. yes, this RD28ETi motor is not very different than previous RD28T from factory, but for the "i" letter in the engine model, with small modification you will get much improvement on the performance! absolutely enough for general offroad ...
