Try switching your vacuum hoses on the transfercase around to see if you have 4wd. Don't touch any of the switches/knobs and if you have 4wd then it is definiatly your electric over vacumn solenoid switch.

Thermo housings get eaten away if motor has been run without coolent in the water at some stage. You should have plenty of meat on your housing where the hose clamps on if not you may need a new thermostat housing as well

There are 2 types of windows. 1 has a rounded top corner and 1 is quite square. The 70s with the removable windscreen frame will have the square sort and the fixedwindscreen will have the rounded. I can possibly help with a window depending on which sort you want

You should have 2 switches on your dash. 1 for the hubs and 1 for the transfercase. If you change out your electric hubs for manuual ones which I would recomend anyway it should not effect your 4 wheel drive except you will have to get out of the truck to manually engage your hubs. It is a single cast case and the side mounting holes are lower on the right hand side by about 15mm compared to the left. They are a little thinner in size than the split transfer type.
