I to have a pto winch and had the same problem. when you have the winch unlocked you need to give the drum a wibble by hand. You will hear a click and then away you go. :)

Hi, my name is Graham but prefer Wobble. I live in CHCH. A couple of weeks ago I brought a BJ70 SWB with a 3B engine.
