Re: 38's on a 13bt 70 series cruiser?

Sweet, what about Horse Power, will it have enough grunt to drive 38's, or will I need to change diff ratios or put crawler gears in transfer case? I want to keep it road legal too.

38's on a 13bt 70 series cruiser?

Any body have any idea of how big you can go for tires on a 70 series SWB cruiser? What lifts would it need etc, I haven't had time to pick up my new ride yet, (perhaps this weekend depending on work) but I am already looking at tires and suspension mods so any advice/help will be appreciated cheers ...

2.4 turbo cruiser - how do they rate?

Hey - can any body tell me what the 1986 on 2.4 turbo coil sprung cruisers are like for 4x4in? Are they as good as the 3.4 non turbo leaf spring models? Modifications etc? Issues? I am not familiar with these trucks and would greatly appreciate any input you have. Cheers Greg

Yeah thats what I want to do - only my deck would be alot smaller! This is the problem with 4x4ing is it gets addictive fast and keeping up with the brown's is bloody expensive! The main reason Im looking at trading up is that there are alot more bolt-ons available for the newer trucks. My mate has ...

Yeah thanks, well Ive got a set of 33's already, and Ive got a hydraulic winch set up that saves a heap of room up front which helps the approach angle heaps so thats not essential. I guess im hoping to find a safari with some rear end panel damage cheap so as I can get in and chop it all off.

Yup - thats pretty much excatly what I was thinking bout doing. I was gonna run a couple of light box sections from the roof to the floor with a bend at the top to bring out the roof line, it would attach to a flange that bolts onto the original mounts for the f/glass top. These would run down ...
