Thanks for the help. I wanted to detail the repair for anybody else who might find the same problem on their Proceed. I found that there was no supply to the dash switch (probably a faulty safety switch on the handbrake as originally you had to pull on the handbrake to operate the dash switch for ...

The back window on the 91 Proceed is electricallyu opened from the dash mine does not. I am assuming blown fuse but I have checked (visually and with a meter) all the fuses on the fuse panel and they are all ok.

Please help
