For a change I remembered to catch a few seconds footage while offroad. not the sort of off-roading we get to do often in NZ
its short & sweet but amazing I got any footage. & after this trip I didn't even have to wash the truck..

are you getting a hard brake pedal? After a long project build I spent ages chasing a brake issue only to find I had my rear calipers on the wrong side which moved the bleed nipple to the bottom and wouldn't get the air out of the caliper. Worth a look. Check all you nipples are high! I am getting ...

So the roof rack is all sorted, Lights fitted & Wired. Took a slight diversion on the way home today, Hilux before me came out with a smashed rear window & dented tailgate. Re: Porsche Off -- A Cayenne Offroad Project
Wire the isolater into the low amp side of the control box. The low amp side has a perminate pos that feeds the forward reverse switches. Break into that small cable ran switch. Heavy winching will melt those switches. Just remember that the switch will only shit itself under loading... and thats ...

Re: Porsche Off -- A Cayenne Offroad Project
Finished the wiring today, went with a kill switch, from what I could find they should be OK.. I would be a bit more sceptical if on a winch truck. but I also think the failure would be the contacts welding them selfs on rather than no contact.. Anyone else had experience with this type of switch on ...

what i do know is that if you have a (50mm?) dent in your sill (on a monocoque vehicle) then it is a warrant issue, so you need to protect them somehow. I followed the bmw X5 thread, it was nice work and it was entertaining. And it was novel. Now you have this project, with low range and diff locks ...
