If they think they are that easy to find in that price range ask if they would be happy to supply a replacement.

Re: What would a G60 patrol be worth
If you want to get it recomplied allow 3 grand, to cover wof check, panel beaters cert for rust if they suspect any, they don't have to see any, and cost of repairs. This only relates to the body not what they may find mechanically.

Re: hilux steering box
Remove the curved tin plates held in by 2 screws and they all go back in there, you have to rock the shaft back and forth and push them down with a punch. The last few sit in the plates with some grease, just make sure there all in there if not buy some more from a bearing shop.

Had a super custom Hiace that had 2 radiators and I think it was an option for hot climates. Have a look at some of the hydraulic radiator fans they seem to be pretty grunty.

Re: Chassis swap
Talk to LTSA or your local certifier, chassis will have to have a history and you will need to have proof of ownership but needs to be deregistered at time of recomplying.Body will bolt straight on but front drive shaft and steering shaft from column may be different.

I think there is a pressure switch around the condensor maybe the right hand side, you will have to bridge it out.You can always put power straight into the clutch wire and it will go but that would require a seperate switch.
