Re: 16x8 rims needed

would that still be the same problem with 16x8 rims? ,as they are not standard for your insurance . Imo beedlock your 16x7, it gives you 1/2 inch wider rim. so would only work out 12mm less than 16x8 but much better for your swampers.only saying this because i found it hard to find 16x8 or 16x10 ...

hmm at that price you could pick up something like this,or find a cheaper one and chuck some mud tyres on , m might be the great truck for the mud and bush crashing ,these seem to be cheap on trade me .if you change to dislocating coil springs and long travel shocks it should make them better on the ...

Re: new bumper made for my classic

yes it has a complete new cross member, the standard one is not strong enough for a heavy recovery point .The bumper just bolts onto the new cross member. bumper steel is equivalent to 16mm plate steel.will ask Steve on the name of that ,some kind of high tensile steel.

yeah go for a auto with manual center lock specially if going bigger tyres, and it looks like a set of gene headers on trademe and efi so dont have to worry about extreme angles, could be a nice set up for offroading

Re: LR 110 front suspension options

work out how much lift you need and you could put a spacer under the bottom spring holder with longer bolts, then put longer front shocks in for the travel that you will lose .the origanal springs will easy handle a extra few lbs

lot of beach dudes spray old oil on the chassis ,then chuck heaps of sand on it, then coat it with oil and repeat heaps of times.seams to work on old beach landies ,must make a oily sand powder coating system lol, then degrease every year and repeat.
