No issues with the pump. Very straightforward once the radiator was out. Took about an hour I guess. Something I found out is that there are a couple of different pumps fitted on these. Apparently the distance between the pump flange and the pulley can be different and also the fan mounting bolts ...

Hi Kiwipete, Ha ha! Easy done. I've got just the thing for filling it. 5L bottle with a plastic tube fitted to the top. There is a small hole in the bottom of the bottle to let air in when it is inverted, which I cover with tape when filling. The tube fits down the dipstick hole and gravity feeds ...

Thanks. All in good nick there. Just had the radiator out to put in a new water pump, so had a good look at the hoses while I was at it. I know what you mean though. I've seen the results of a hose burst - messy!

Terrano auto trans fluid

Hi,
Wondering if anyone can tell me what sort of auto trans fluid to use in a 91 Terrano TD27 auto? The dealer where I got the service kit suggested Dextron III but wasn't sure. I'm keen to confirm before I shell out for the wrong sort.
