Next tank I mite try 96 and c if better. After my rebuild years ago, I kept taking it back to my mechanic as it was missing.. when finally he asked what fuel I was running it on, that's when he told me to run it on the high octane as apparently the engine runs more efficiently on the higher octane ...

I jst remembered I also have very small 235/75/15 tyres. I am putting 32/12.5/15 on soon so will c how this affects. Now this all gets a bit confusing when factory spec 265/70/15 tyres and you get circumference differences so mileage is alwys going to change. I'm running Bf Goodrich 31x10.5x15 so ...

We got 435km 1 tank of 91octane (most over 400 even around town) Now with all my tools im almost empty and not quite 400km. The head gasket blew after only 5 days of owning it so it had a total rebuild at 76k (under warranty thank god)... now on 140k I've just had the cam belt done, HT leads rotor ...

I'm getting around 17L/100 OR 27c a Kilometre OR 350km's off a 60 litre tank (ninety something bucks when using mobils 98 octane) OR slightly worse economy than a Maserati Quattroporte 4.2 V8 or even worse than a super charged V8 Range Rover, obviously with a fraction of the performance ! anyway ...
