Asbestos

One of those situations, when you're ripping stuff to bits and suddenly you get that sinking feeling that the thought that just popped into your head would have been really good to have had before you started... Anyhow, here's the thing: there's no asbestos in automotive roof-lining insulation is ...

Re: Rollcage/ Cert question

Hey thanks guys. Skid, I hear you! if you are going to a certain certifier in your area and he has told you not to do it, and he will be the one certifying your vehicle, then it makes sense to listen to him. so I would do as he says, unless you are taking it somewhere else, then I would ask that guy ...

Rollcage/ Cert question

Been advised that if I put in a cage (front 1/2 exo), the longitudinal rear braces from the main hoop to the floor will mean it won't certify with the rear seat in place (please assume that main hoop isn't a problem in itself, and that the diagonal crossbrace would be removable). This is going into ...

I have marked the roofrack height on the aerial up front so I don't get caught out in the bush with low hanging trees. Al Ha! Just the other day, I came trundling back up a bushy wee track I'd been exploring, when the glint of a shiny thing caught my eye... "What's that shiny thing hangin' from ...

Front is much the same - just have to remove the free-wheel hubs first, and then have to turn the C/V to the right angle with the flat on top so it will come out of the swivel hub. I like the idea in principal, but once your coilovers have fully extended you have nothing to 'push' the diff down any more, so it may not help keep your wheel on the ground enough to give traction . Similar in principal to a buggy leaf or 3/4 ellipticall set up used on rear leaf set up. though the ...
