My Pajero failed it's WOF yesterday due to a leaking RR shock.

How do I know which one to get without taking the old one off?

My Pajero has the button which lifts the suspension a few inches at low speeds.

I used it when troubleshooting my flashing lights. Mine turned out to be my solenoids.

That's not bad at all.
I have decided to keep my Pajero after all, I think I will miss it too much.
I am going to give it a good service over the weekend and see if that improves things a bit.

You're lucky, I got around 5 km on a litre with my LWB, mind you the O2 sensor failed. I thought the SWB would be better, but seeing as it is only 200kg lighter it is not much better. Having said that, I do love the spaciousness and comfort, but I cannot enjoy it because I cannot afford to drive it ...

i don't think a service will really make a big difference, it is a heavyweight vehicle. I have tried lightfooting it, but it doesn't make a huge difference.

From the Trademe listings, I can see the Pajero IO is 1800cc, and apparently they have low range and centre diff locks, but I cannot confirm this.
The Pajero Junior is the 1100cc one, and only available in 3 door.

Haven't got a lot of experience with LPG, or diesel for that matter.

I would prefer not to get a diesel. After the RUC, and more frequent services, I am not convinced they are cheaper to run compared to petrol cars. And the difference in fuel economy is not that good. That is my other option, is to get another small runabout, and keep the 4wd for weekends and long distance travelling.

It is a hardtop with a manual tiltup sunroof.
The glass is fine, but the rubber seal is crumbling to bits.
