As the man said, too easy to go thru the wall to get into it. Spend the money, I lost 15 guns to the crims in huntly, only ...

Re: help identifying relay

If you put a voltmeter across the battery terminals and you got 12-13 volts then your battery is ok. You will get a voltage drop of a volt when your lights are on full beam. When you crank the engine your battery voltage should drop down to 8-9 volts untill it starts. What you need to do is put the ...

Trout in Kaingaroa Forest

Just spent 3 days over easter fishing for trout in the Kaingaroa Forest. The main river is the Rangitaiki, it goes for miles North to South. The river is very low and the fish are abundant. Size caught 10cm - 45cm. Other people I met caught up to 55cm. Browns and Rainbow are in the river. You need a ...

There probably isn't one single fix that will stop this happening again, but if something isn't done then in 5-10 yrs time there will be no hunting for anyone.

Re: Tragic result of inadequate target identification

Yes very sad indeed for all concerned.
The only way I can see around this is to make it mandatory to wear blaze or blaze camo when hunting. Pass a law.
Police the law and educate more.

Loads sign around

Mate came down from AKL on Friday so we went to a river I had been fishing recently and seen a load of Deer sign. 15 minutes from parking the car we missed one. It was 5m away and took off into the river bed and across the other side. 5hrs of walking later and loads sign but no luck. We went out ...

Whatever you decide also stick a large flashing red led on the dash, they draw next to no current. DSE sell them.
