yeah probably a bit of both. I don't want to get a bigger wagon but I need the extra grunt at times. I think i've got a small crack in the block so I might use the G16b in my Lj81 project that I've just started. I'll probably need the model/year of diffs, transf case, etc for all bits n pieces to ...

3.8 v6 into Vitara? Any experience with this?

Te Puke parts world say that the mechanical insurance repair centres buy all of these for repairs that's why they cost so ...

Cheers for help.

I've been looking at a few lexus V8's & 3.8 holdens also although, I'm not sure whether I want to spend too much on it. I'm sure I'll have to change the drive line (diffs, axles etc) to cope with the extra power. The nissans seem overly expensive- probably a good option for boy racers & drift cars I ...

Hey, I do a lot of mud plugging but not in any clubs as yet. Most of my time is spent out hunting & fishing. I've done a suspension lift on my wagon with EFS springs front & rear, OME struts & EFS rear shocks. Handles awesome on & offroad. I've got 31 10.5 15's on 8" white spoke rims. I haven't done ...

Vitara engine conversion

Hi, I need some help making a decision. I have a 1995 Vitara (NZ new) with a G16B 16 valve efi & manual 5 speed. It has a water leak coming from somewhere under the injection manifold. I can't see the source of the leak. Still goes fine & no overheating yet. Anyway, I've been thinking about giving ...
