the one i have is from a kzn185, similar but has an extra plastic bottle thng on it for some reason? Take a look at engine photos of 97ish surfs on trademe and you will see what i mean

Plastic one that goes accross the rocker cover? i have one of a kzn185 make an offer if that what your after.

1kz-te from a kzn130 surf engine parts, striped a complete engine that had a cracked head so basicly have all major parts.

Heads cracked and block has rust marks.

Thats is common symptons in those engines.

they run a twin ventury carb which are common for failing in old age. generaly carbs cant be fixed and are very hard to find a good second hand one.

Bugger, i no its been talked about before. From what ive read in the past, gearboxs dont match so would have to get gearbox from kzn surf, would need ecu and loom, radiators etc etc not just a straight swap. Could also go for manual deisel pump which would cut out most your wiring isues but arnt ...
