the V8 in my RX7 is an all alloy ( very light) rover/leyland setup, its a p76 4.4 block with rover 3.5 heads feed with a holley carb, its got reasonable hp, but the torque is incredible. I reckon you could get a similar set up for bugger all $$$
i was going to go for some of those KL71 kumho's, but the dont do a 32", & the guys couldnt do that good a price, ( about the same as 4wdbits) so they gave me a wicked deal on these & convinced me they be better anyway.
Still like the looks of those kumho's though.

yeah the the 2.8 is all good, & they feel more like a ruggered 4wd. less shiney & all.
im going to be putting some 32"s on mine in a week or two.
it may just be mine, but the steering can feel a bit light & wandery,but i think its a by product of the lift.
