Re: wodhill jeep park
its purpose built, but still sand based although theres heaps of mud to keep everyone happy, theres a few good bog holes and some pretty hard tracks around that you need a pretty capable truck to get through, but theres usually a bypass on the hard parts if you cant make it. definately worth a look ...

Re: !WANTED! 2lt starter motor
my lux starter was dead, had seized bearings and dodgy contacts, just gave it a rebuild and now its mint no need to replace just try rebuilding it. plug the breather holes too, it will stop crap getting in,the auto sparkys reckoned the holes were useless anyways

ive had similar problems with old man emu springs, the truck tends to sag to the right. shaking the vehicle seems to straighten it out a bit, only to sag again once driven.

Re: CB arial help
Taken from the site mentioned above: "The Cable should always be a multiple of 1/2 wave length of the frequency ie: for 27MHz the length should be either 3.6m, 7.2m, 10.8m or 14.4m etc. In the case of UHF CB it is not important as the vast majority of UHF antennas are broad band and do not need to ...

Re: Runva winch wiring
I need the wiring from the solenoid pack to the winch motor, and what each terminal is on the winch. I'm assuming the bottom terminal is ground as on the previous diagram, but my wire colors are red, blue, yellow, and a long red one which i think goes to the positive battery terminal.

Runva winch wiring
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a runva winch, model is GEW10000 but I think the wiring will be the same for most models. I managed to lose mine since the winch sat on the workshop floor for 3 months before i got around to mounting it.

I recently failed a cert for the exhaust not extending beyond the body of the vehicle, although your local WOF man might be a bit more lenient

Newbie with 84 surf
Hey Just purchased an 84 hilux surf today! http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/8395/lemonzb4.jpg Just wondering what further mods you think would add to the performance of the truck. It will probably eventually end up with a V8 but before that I'm looking at modding the suspension and drivetrain. I ...
