Re: Pajero Height Control

Ooooo yeah now that i have wound the front up to match the back when i push the "up" button the front only comes up a little bit compared to the back. I have not checked the front bump stop clearance. If it is hitting would i get away with giving it a small trim/cut in half? :D

Change the rear diff, transfer box, gearbox and front diff oils today in the Paj and removed the towbar ready to fit my new tow hook mount. Also had a fiddle with the Evo and went for a little tiki tour.

Re: Pajero Height Control

Ok cool, i thought that may be the case. Thanks for that.

Has anyone swapped rear springs and wound up torsion bars on these height adjustable models? I dont see how to wind up the torsion bars as the have the self adjusting device part on them which i am guessing would need to be removed?

Thanks.

Pajero Height Control

Hi, Just picked up my 92 SWB V6 Pajero today with factory height control. When I set it on the high setting it does not seem to stay up for long unless the truck is turned off. Is this normal? I am starting to think that the height control is if you bottom out on something that it is just a ...

Gave it to many revs one day and out comes a nice loud tick tick tick!!! kept on driving it like that for a month until i could not handle it anymore. Went to BNT brought 1 new lifter for $5.50, went home, found the sticky ...

Headed on out to woodhill on sunday in my Terrano to try out the new tyres and suspension lift with T-Boon and some others. Had a mean day until my left front tyre popped off the rim (found out today it had a faulty valve, running extreme low pressure haha!). T-Boon, you forgot to mention who pulled ...

Since then now have lifted the suspension, fitted 31x10.5 mud tyres and fitted a tow hook. Going out this weekend to give it another bash . Fingers crossed i ...

4wd high or 4wd low??

Hey, might seem like a dumb question but what ratio do you use when splashing around in the mud?? Im thinking 4wd "low" is for steep hills up and down or mud and 4wd "high" is just for getting from spot to spot?? I havent really seen the question asked anywhere so i feel kinda stupid not knowing the ...

Hi there, I am currently looking at purchasing a 90-93 D21 TD27t 5-speed Terrano and i am wondering if there are different transaxle codes stamped on the chassis tag to state if it has a rear limited slip diff or not?? Or is the only way to jack it up and give the wheels a spin?? I have noticed a ...
