Hey guys, been a while - with no truck I guess ive lost touch with the ORE forums etc.. anyhow - due to moving to Melbourne, and not having a truck anymore - I have a pair of front rotors for a Safari sitting around which never ended up going on the truck. Be good to not have to throw them out. I ...

WTB: Safari roof + rear pillars
I got on the beers one night and cut my roof off - it was rusty, and I decided to do a ute chop. However, now I cannot find another non/less rusty roof to put back on. If anyone is in the lower north island, and knows of someone wrecking a low/mid roof safari, that isnt too rusty then id be ...

Re: Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT)
The m units via Ebay work well. Can't verify calibration but got to be as good as anything sold in the speed shops here. Plus if you ditch the truck you can remove them and use it for different measurments.. Water / oil temp. Boost..... just get different sender units and reconfigure the unit..All ...

Re: TD42 turbo potential..?
yeah, ive owned and modded a few turbo vehicles and always found you can more get stable boost with an external as the internal ones usualy melt or cant hold thre pressure properly.
What do you mean by use an internal if you go any where near mud?

Re: Safari auto/manual combination free wheel hubs
There is a race on the very inside of the hub that holds the locking mechanism in. I gave up on the mod. Have made it back into an "auto/lock" and put on right hub for strength and refitted the superwinch one to the left. (got a front lokka). Ugly and I get heaps of comments but so far it has ...

Re: Safari auto/manual combination free wheel hubs
Those pieces in the pics, I think he is meaning turn them back to front, see if they fit. Should do if you remove the outer seal for the bearing. I took those pieces out all together but the locking mecanism for the hub would fall out of its bearing race inside the hub and not engae properly. Give ...

Re: Safari auto/manual combination free wheel hubs
Photo's would be good. I have one that is a bit worse for wear, fucked basicly, but may have the part you need there. I reversed the internals on mine and made them into manual hubs only How exactly do you reverse the internals in them? I found a post on the patrol4x4.com forums semi explaining ...

Re: Safari auto/manual combination free wheel hubs
You should be able to go to any decent hardware store and match that washer and circlip. I did. Al good thinking! ill try that for the washer and snapring... only problem is the piece of the hub that will need replacing, which also seems to be held in with a snapring! May have to call nissan, but ...

Safari auto/manual combination free wheel hubs
Does anyone rebuild these, or know where to get parts, or if you can get parts? I pulled mine off because they were clicking madly when engaged.. to find a small thin flat shiney piece connected to the clutch, which rides on a bearing and is then held onto the inner hub via a circlip on the outer ...

The compensator assembly from a TD27t injector pump found in Terrano's, Mistral's and Navara's will work.
Does anyone have any specifics on how to attach the boost compensators to the td42 pump before I rip into it?
