Edit that, found some on eBay that slow it down ..... Just have to work out what will fit

The problem with the correction kits that I have found is they are for speeding up your speedo not for slowing it down,
I'm gonna ring Nissan on Tuesday and see what different options there are teeth wise......
I'm sure last time I gpsd it was reading 125km/h and I was doing 100km/h

My speedo on my d21 Datsun is reading fast It's had a td27t put in at some stage and unsure if the box they used was original or one from a terrano...... My speedo drive has 20 teeth ... I would need one with more teeth to slow the speedo down.... Has 30in tyres ..... Any ideas?? I'm struggling to ...

I'm wondering if it has had a different box and now the callibration between the gear at the gearbox and guage cluster is now different? Or if there is something else wrong?
Any common problems?

How do I tell witch gearbox I have in mine? Obviously manual, has a td27t in it - are the gearboxes different? Was originally td27 - is the earlyer engine with the bolt on intake into the turbo

There may be some variation in quality, or maybe I was just unlucky - but I had a set of 35in KL71's half worn after about 10,000km (38psi) and three punctures through the tread on gravel forestry roads. Admittedly a heavy truck (Safari) but not driven hard on the road. I won't be buying them again ...

straight thread with copper washers is the best way

If you run no catch can and just a hose down to the chassis, do you run the risk of water entering the engine while deep water crossing or is the breathing strong enough to keep the water out? Do you run the risk of the water plugging the hole and not allowing the engine to breath or is it strong ...

you need to set everthing rich and then tune the engine lean not the other way around

we are talking diesel here not petrol, ritch means high egts witch means engine damage

most seem to read max at 20:1........................
really need something that reads 30:1 so can tune to around 20:1
