Have fitted another DIY oil catch can at the same time as changing oil+filter to test if this may help the smoke problem. I'm sure this will be found upon... I used a 4L plastic oil container and simply cut holes to push both ends of the breather pipe in, this has greatly reduced the smoke.

I have been looking out for a catch can. I did fit a DIY one but think it was far to small the be effective. I had the injectors done now at $550! but hasn't helped at all... it's still pumping out thick dark smoke just before it boosts

I made sure the air filter and pipes leading to the turbo are all good. Hope I don't have to splash out $$$ on a turbo
Might look around for a cheap Hilux if the Terrano is going to cost too much!
