Re: Lifting a Jeep Wrangler

Something like this looks good: m What would be recommended in terms of shocks, I'm assuming you cannot run these systems on factory shocks. I run the RE Superflex kit and you do need longer shocks than stock - way longer...the RE is a big 3.5" lift and the springs dont sag like Pro Comp and OME. I ...

TJ vs. KJ

Went wheeling in the weekend with some mates and I followed a mate in his KJ with my TJ.... admittedly I am locked etc but it shows you the difference in flex and the traction: http://i333.photobucket.com/albums/m397/Baseplate_2008/Jeep/KJormeau.jpg http://i333.photobucket.com/albums/m397/Baseplate ...

Re: Lifting a Jeep Wrangler

3.5" spring lift is perfect - plenty of flex and no rubbing. Other factors: 1. You will be well advised to run a slip yoke eliminator / DC 2. You will need to run something like a 15x8 with a -19mm offset or 3.75" backspace rim 3. You will need another 3"-4" of flare on the wheel arches 4. I run a 6 ...

Re: Just about to order tri-link long arms

Ok - spoke to a few Jeep specialists in Brisbane and seems I have no chance of getting them engineered. Idea shelved, can't afford to risk having an accident and getting sued because my insurance doesn't cover me..... Back on the T/case upgrade path - Atlas or STaK Monster Box..... Was quoted $4100 ...

Just about to order tri-link long arms

Hi Not sure how many of you guys are running long arms? Am about to embark upon the upgrade from RE to my short arms. It includes everything pretty much to upgrade my RE shorty to the tri-ling Extreme Duty rig. Only concern will be unwanted attention from the "old bill" is already an issue and if I ...

Re: Show us your ......... JEEP

Lots from my shopping list on there. Are they 33s? First time I've seen corner guards without LED lights. Yeip they are 33" MTR's - bloody noisy and am now running the MT Radial Claws - they are a wicked tyre.....only thing is they are directional which is a bummer for rotation. Was looking at ...
