the diesel pump wires at the back of the pump pluged straight into my mine. the wires ontop of the td27 pump you wont beable to hook up i dont know what the are for someone may know. It does run so mustnt be important??

ok this is how it went. First of all i cant realy think of a easyer way todo it. Ive been told you drop the front diff down. But i think its better to take the whole thing out then you have plenty of room. apart from that its a staright bolt in.I do have a plug that comes off the td27 injector pump ...

Cheers m8. I got one , pulled the old 2.3 out today and put the 2.7 turbo in it shes all go and seems good just a few little jobs to do sort. I wouldnt want to do it again tho was a bit of a bastard to do

hi ive just bought a 1988 nissan datsun d/c ute and it got a td23 in it and its so slow its a joke. Ive been given all the turbo bits of a terrano and was gana tubo the rd23 but i dont know if its a good idea or not. I paid $2300 for the ute and it has brand new BFG 31x10.5 tyres allso has 15x8 ...

i paid $200 for a rolled terrano a while back. Bought it for the gearbox havnt needed to use it yet allso got the motor out of it aswell still sitting in the garage. Dont know if id sell it cause then mine will probly crap out. Try buing a wrec much cheaper

looked in to the 93 model and id say your bang on with the head gasket leak. There is no black around the exhaust but a lot of oil down the back of the motor. So will give it a miss and keep looking thanks for the info

yea but they are still a prick to work on. I shouldnt complain tho i only paid $200 for the wrec and thats cheap for a good spare 5 speed box and 2.7 deisel motor

i couldnt believe it i walked out side pushed the pig out of the garage hooked up the engine crane and it lifted stright out. After the all the trouble i had last night with it. Oh well its off to the scrap yard

yea i have cut the front off it but the sump will not clear the diff this is the worst car ive ever worked on. Im about to go have anouther go at it now so ill try again with it

Yea the gear box thats in it is stufed you can only get it moving and then quickly change. secound gear start offs are a bit hard because of the big tyres. Im not going to use it untill the gear box is sorted . how do you put pictures up on this site.

have just spent the whole day working on it. cut the side out as it had a big dent and welded in new panel fixed a big dent with about a 300mm rip in the roof fited alloy tread plate to tops of gaurds and bottom of back gaurds and sills. next will be to repair the inside where the dent has damaged ...
