Re: toyota kingpin shims wanted..

One shim was all bent and crushed when removed so no good, looks like it was damaged when installed during the last fix. So nothing particularly exciting. Wish I could make up something more exciting... :D

Just brought some new Front window rubbers from my kzj78 from these guys. Really good to deal with and under half the price that Toyota NZ were going to charge me. Front windows now go up and down like they should.
Were US$55 each plus freight.

Have lots of hard to find parts there.

Cheers

Re: 1KZTE Idler gear wanted

Can't help with parts but the exact same thing happened to me just after I brought my truck. Luckily no major damage. Tell your mate to drop the oil pan too as there will be lots of teeth from the idler gear in there that need removing. Fotunately for me that was the only damage. Toyota said that it ...

Hilux upper ball joint F/S

Hi, have a new Hilux upper ball joint for Hilux 4wd 90 -95. Doesn't fit a surf so assume it's for a ute or the likes. Part # is TRW JBJ457 Bag has been opened and as consequence there is a small amount of surface rust. Make me an offer. Dozen beer would prob do it. Part is in Wellington. Cheers

Baring head access Wellington

Hi, Just wondering if there is access to Baring head lighthouse via the Wainuiomata coast road / beach? or does the river preclude access thru there. I know Muritai Rd is locked off to mortals but was hoping there was another way round.

Thanks

Re: kzj78 prado transmission

Just had pan off at the transmission specialist he cleaned up and changed oil.
