Re: 3.8l v6 rugger
My mistake. I sometimes confuse the rugger with a Feroza.

Will you use the same transmission and transfer case? I don't think the stock transmission and transfer case can handle the power and torque of your V8.

Re: Should I "Lincoln Locker" (Trans-arc) my front dif
I have welded my front differential last year. My feroza have trailed more than 10 times since. It has been to easy medium and difficult trails together with other feroza members of our club. What I could say is that, the welded front performs much better than an open differential. I did it Fozzy ...

Re: cc rating for a 3L turbo diesel surf engine.
As far as I know the Toyota 3L engine is only rated at 2.8L . It is the 5L that is rated at 3.0L.
Here is a description of the L series of Toyota engines

Hello Meece4x4,
Just want to know what eventually happened. Did you weld your front differential? If yes, were you happy?
or regretted you even thought about it? Tia

Re: torsion bars
do torsion bars come on all rockys? Is the nz rocky the same as the Feroza? With IFS in the front? If yes, then the answer to your question is a yes, all Rockys/Ferozas have torsion bars for the front. Btw Why are you asking about Torsion Bars? Are you planning to do a suspension lift to accomodate ...

my truck is really uneconomical to go 20ks it uses half a tank..........please help There is something very wrong with your vehicle. There might a fuel leak, or your odometer does not give you the correct distance. I have yet to encounter a vehicle even the big gas guzzler V8's that consume 1.5 ...

Re: Welded differential for Feroza
with a little engineering a surf front diff would fit, then all you have to do is get a ring and pinion kit to change the ratio then buy and install locker Thank you 2Roky, I might as well do that. I am thinking of welding my front differential and if i don't like the ride or the control during 4x4 ...

Re: feroza/rocky f300 mods
I run 32" MT on my Feroza with no problem. I did a 2.5" body lift and a 1.5" suspension lift. This way I don't have to crank my torsion bars alot. For the rear, I replaced the shackles with an extended one. I also place a spacer between the upper A arm to minimize camber problems. And I converted it ...
