2001 Hilux 3.0 non turbo, how would it compare?
Hi guys Interested in some opinions - 2001 Hilux extra cab 4wd manual essentially vs a 2004 Courier 4wd manual? Does a bit of off road but is mainly a work vehicle and would do a fair bit of towing...at times towing a large chipper etc. My main concern is going from a turbo to non turbo motor, I've ...

Wizard....manual conversion?
If I could get a 97 3.1dt Wizard for cheap would it be very expensive/hard to convert it to a manual?

Hmmm, do you mean a steady stream of liquid oil?? If you have liquid oil flowing out of the turbo while the engines running, then yeah, you have bigger issues!!!! Yep...a slow but steady stream of liquid oil. New Injectors and recond pump. Bit pricey though How many K's has it done, you should only ...

It seems to be performing well now......do you thing it is worth looking at new injectors or pump? or new injectors & 2nd hand pump? What about running ...

1990 TD27T, Cold start issue's
Hey guys Popped around and collected my bro's 1990 Terrano (TD27T) to give it a clean and tidy up for him. It was really quite hard to start after sitting over night, turned over heaps and even with the chock out full it would slowly die down and stall. Once I got it down onto the flat it was much ...

That MU is overpriced. Don't worry about the back end, they ALL sag... the rear leafs are not that great in them, but aftermarket replacements are available... just factor in $400 or so for new springs and bushes when you buy one, and possibly another $200 or so for new shocks in the rear. Avoid ...

Yeah I saw that.....just worried that the km's are a bit high, worry it's more likley to cost him if something goes wrong, he is a bit limited for $ so what ever he gets needs to last

Were currently looking for a 4wd for my lil bro. Just been to see a 1993 Mu, 2.8 DT. Done 136,000 km's, drives well but rattles & squeeks a hell of a lot at the back. Disc brakes & cv boots need replaceing, t-belt has been done & regular servicing but I have a feeling the bump stops (??) for the ...

Hi, it is a braked winch, but not sure of the braking capabilities. Will drag the manual out and have a look. It would be perfect for towing greenies off trees and then pulling the tree out of the way too... I'll have one mounted to my MU hopefully in the coming week... cut the hole in the bumper ...

would\\\'nt compressing the rear springs but extra stress on the truck ? Why?? I can\'t see it being any different to putting in aftermarket lowering springs. To be honest his Pajero is used MAINLY for everyday road use...only ventures off road once in a blue moon. Found a place in Naenae that will ...

The easiest way would be to \\\'wind up\\\' the front torsion bars to get it to sit level!!! Basically to lower the back you\\\'d need shorter springs which would mean a firmer spring and hard ride to keep off the bumpstops which are already close enough! Hope this helps, regards, Glen Even with ...
