What would i have to do if i was to change from petrol to diesel regarding changing RUC etc?. I am assuming you've transplanted a diesel into what was a petrol engined vehicle? Once you have got it plated for the LVVTA cert process these records are transferred to your registration details by the m...

My Land Rover Series 2a is fitted with a petrol Holden 186. I'm thinking about changing it to diesel so she can be more water fording compliant :D and when I fit triple tanks, have less explosive fuel under my seat. Besides the outlay for an engine, what kind of money are we talking about here to g...

Been thinking similar for sometime now. An approach similar to that noted in this patent document appeals for simplicity. It's a double pull rearwards and a single pull forwards. Utilises the chassis tube as a guide going from rear to forward which simplifies the whole potentially tangled 'wire gui...

As we all know getting small holes in tubes is a pain. All the punctures Ive had have been caused by a bit of dirt getting in the rim and making a tiny hole. Steve, unsure what the engine is in your truck but a real quick search of the net found a manual for the 2L-T. Is this the same as what you got?

I don't have any ECU in my truck and I haven't had anything to do with ECU's or anyother black boxes in vehicles so what does a suppressor do in this instance? Just in case I need to use my standard leads on an ECU equipped truck is there any precaution needed?

Make sure the springs in the clips are good and going to hold onto the terminals and I have also had problems with the join between the clips and the wires so make sure the wires are joined to the clips well. Good insulation around the clips is also a good thing if working in dark areas so you don't...
