thanx guys.. i'll have a good look after work tomorrow the reason i suspect the motor is gone though, is because when i turn the key i can hear a click.. just no movement.. so i assume the relay is still working. it's not a mechanical click.. it's an electrical click.. if that makes sense i'll dig ...

Kia Ora Koutou the back window in the Surf has finally given up.. stopped working with the in-cab switch a few months ago, but has recently stopped working with the key as well i assume it's stuffed at the cab switch and the motor.. that said, anyone have a source for a replacement motor? have been ...

mine has stopped working from the switch within the cab..

anybody have any experience before i pull the whole thing to bits?

sand vs sunroof

was out for a play on Muriwai Beach west of Auckland when a "friend" of mine decide to power-side up to the side of my rig.. he sent a wave of sand in through my open windows and covered the sunroof track. now i should know better than to have the sunroof open when we're throwing sand around, but ...

.. what that clunky, grindy noise is that seems to live in the suspension of quite a few surfs is.

you know, the one that embarasses your girl friend when you do a slow, tight u-turn in the middle of town

Well looks like PAID knows his way round Muriwai Dunes. So PAID, are you keen for trip leader? dunno if im the right choice i'd be inclined to intentionally lead everybody astray. bring a bedroll and food to.. depending on the weather i might stay up there and come out on the early morning low tide ...

PAID: Dude, where can you find acurate information from. The best i could do was from m Which tells us that Muriwai has a High tide of 13:50 on the 17th! i use niwa or hydro.linz.. they're usually around the same time. although once you're out there you wonder how they come up with their times ...

high-tide on the 17th is around 2:30pm.. usually look at Onehunga tide and minus 30miins for high and 40mins for low

or something like that

double and check and let me know. i'll come for a blast.

bring a rig wearing tow hooks. a strap and a spade ;)
