24 volt Warne winch drum heat issue
Hey Guys Just done a big service on the old 24 volt warne winch on the saffy ,taken cable off and brought some amsteel to replace it with ,have just put back on truck and making sure it all worked ok ,which its does but was really suprised on power out how hot the drum gets ,,,,like really hot ...

Thanks mate ,,,,yeah managed to get some measurement of a turbo rod ,slightly thicker in pin end ,,,,looking like maybe a set of aftermarket H beams might be the way to go

Cheers the stroke and b/e are the same ,i have an engine reconditioning shop here in Tauranga ,just wanting to know if they have more material on the L/E to accomodate the 30mm bush than the NA rod ??easy job to pin bore the little end as it looks like it will take it easy ,just be nice to compare

Hey guys Just doing a build on a TD42 turbo conversion ,does anyone have a 30mm pin conrod out of a TD42T they could do a couple of measurements around the l/end pin eye for me ,i have a suspicion that they just bore the 28 mm pin non turbo rods for the 30mm bushes found in turbo rods ,any help ...

Yeah same this end re kl71's this latest set will be my last ,,,wearing really fast and for some reason alot noisier than my last set ,,,i buy them pretty sharp but i think the bighorns will be my next pick ,,,,,so consensus is 762 over the new 764??

Still struggling to get one ,,,,this is the cable on the side of the seat not the ones underneath it activates the slide forward when the seat is tilted, eye each end with circlips ,,,anyone got one lying round they would sell?,,,,have tried making one but unsure of eye to eye length as old ones ...

After market fine as long as you use quality bits,,, we use lots of Permaseal new zealad gaskets components good quality ...can buy these through repco etc if you have any dramas pm and will organise for you,,,,,,,,, front main seal part number NJ831N rear main seal NJ829N any worries pm me cheers

Hey Mate yes replace head bolts,get pistons to top dead centre one at a time ,,,,will help if you can get hold of someone with a dial gauge and base to check height ,if you imagine the gudgeon pin running through the piston take your height on the two sides above the pin ,,,divide by two and that ...

Just dropped the end that goes onto the pitman arm and she is pretty notcy,,,,its a real clunking sound as you turn each way will only do it driving
,,,,almost like a coil spring finding its place ,,,will ring 4x4 bits tom to see if hes got one .

Time has come for tyres got 32x11.5x15 kl71s at the moment and have been not bad ,,,not super happy with kms ive got outta them but hey, See maxxis have the new 764 bighorn out and they have jut released the 32" look good ,,Anyones thoughts appreciated ,,,have heard they are noisey on tar??any worse ...
