sorry bout that yes have put a commy v6 in to a ln65 hilux and woundering what to do with exhaust system thanks for your in put have you just got standard holden factory extactors on the v6 or have you got custom made ones thanks

v6 hilux exhaust systems
i have just completed the convertion and it goes like the clappers put i have had a few problrms with the exhaust system i am currently running the standerd hilux sysrem but have manged to blow it in two so my questions for those of you who have done the convetion or those that have more knowledge ...

i have talked to a few people most of them think to seem it will cost about 1k and most of them have about 6 months of work ahead of them but i am still wating on a few replays

thanks gimmemud for the info i have looked at the marks kit it is made longer than the dellow kit that is y it fits with just enough room to spear but i got quoted at just over 2k for just the bellhousing to get it to nz were as the dellows kit is loking at 1500 bucks thanks for the info sorry ...

just got a qouta from dellow automotive for a bellhousing adataptor but the only problem i have at the moment is that it is not long enought to fit the engien that i have allready . A sires 1 vn 3.8 v6 so that means that the throttle body is at the back of the motor which means that the throttle ...

hi every one i have finaly got my a into g and have decided to go for the v6 option so i have got my self a series 1 vn v6 i have got the whole car so now iam at the stage of finding bell housing and clutches ect but any help would be welcomed

thanks steve and turoa for your advice was going to get it rebuild as it dose eat a lot of oil and is a big slug thought about changing to a petrol engine but decided against it for now as the less electrics as possible at the moment the better sorry it has taken so long to reply as i been away from ...

Thanks steve_t647 what i was thinking is that before i put a turbo on it i would get it rebuilt as i have no idea what sort of life this engine has been given and i was also thinking of fitting a inter cooler what are your thoughts on that idea thanks again.

well i decided that i better update my post to date i have decided to keep the 2.8 so i have decided to do all the little jobs that seem to add up i have finely got round to instilling a battery tray as the battery has a bad habit of jumping around when 4wd driving got a new radiator to fix the over ...

thanks ever 1 for the help those of you that have a v6 what they like on fuel usage and how big a tank are you running i was thinking of looking for a 5lt the older model with out the computer what cost am i looking at to buy 1 of these any more help would be great thanks.
