Hi all my truck is at 296000KM and the timimg belt was done by last owner but I had in the back of my mind that the big ends needed doing (well thats what they say I thought to myself) so a call to Toyota and $360 for the set try BNT $70 for the set that's me so over the pit and see photos to see ...

Its been a wile

Hi there fellas its been a wile as I took up boats and fishing for a wile but now back into a Landcruiser :D 80 series this time not a 40 but I do have 35s lockers and a winch so will still be fun.
Is there any keen people here in nelson that are sorting trips away.

its a pity you diddnt post sooner as i just sold my complete 60 series diffs set up for the 40 all sprung over and strengthened with 30 spline longfield axles and cv's in the front bigger 4 pot callipers, ln 130 vented rotors with lsd in front and lockright rear with springs and high steer set up ...

wicked im more than keen to do it its good cause with teh roof being removable as with the roll bar i should still be able to get it in and out of the garage, my boss did one on his suzuki so i well aware that its not just a case of unbolt and move then rebolt thats half the fun in it and any help ...

And that is the attitude that got them banned from some clubs in the first place . If you observe "tread lightly", there should be no need to dig holes at all on 36" tyres. Yep i was taken the micky we drive 35s 36s and leave less mess than the club here funny you say tread lightly but the clubs ...

theres a guy in welly who started a club because he thought he new everything and didnt like it when he wasnt in controll or had the best truck, so one of the rules he made for his new club were no bigger than 35" because he doesnt have the power to spin anything bigger That is it mate what is the ...

36's arent very big Yea well you cant get big foot into where we go driving here in nelson but for a certed truck that you drive there and home 36 ET2s take some beating that green 40 i had was not to much of a race car on road with them so would not be to keen on 40s you say 36s are not big what ...

yep i no where the hilux is i was in the club for a wile i had the red MU with the bars and the 33s but then got a real truck and as you no YEP my Tyres were to big for you boys is there still a 33 tyre size limit in the club

well boys you found me out yes its monaco where i used to live then it moved to wakefield with me then i sold it for to much money to auckland :D Regarding the 50mm springs on trade me what are they like i have only delt with leaves so am learning about the coil set ups( Dobinsons Any good )

well that will do its in my drive bit of a story to that photo i was sorting the shocks out held one in there stepd back to have a look got called away yep forgot it was there and the v8 had no trouble driving over that the ranchos arent that good :mrgreen:

yep i did a pinion stuck on the road with no drive BUGGER had to pull it up the drive locked up with the old boys safari and i still here about it he will get it sorted iv been talking to the new owner he seens keen so hopfully it gone to a good home :mrgreen:

Lot of questions regarding my old green 40 series yep its the one from nelson i sold it to a guy in auckland looks like he let it go its not so mint any more and yes a guy in wellington owns it now looks like crap with small tyres on it get some 36s back onto it it love them :mrgreen: green is cool
