Hi folks,
Slowly building the Surf up, and beginning to look at lockers... Having IFS, not solid axle at the front, how easy is it to put a locker in there?
And what sort of prices do front and rear lockers start from?
Cheers,
Si

Hey guys, I have just upgraded to an Old Man Emu suspension setup, and thus, I have front and rear shocks for sale that were in the Surf! They are in very good working condition, though dont look quite as good as that. Make an offer, or if you could help me price them (they're going on TradeMe ...

Re: Fitting a small top mount intercooler to a 2L-T
Thanks for your reply Richard So, just by utilising an intercooler, power will go up, without an increase in boost? (Pardon my ignorance, Im new to turbo's...) Im installing a boost gauge tomorrow morning to check, but I believe Im running around 6-7psi. I've read your complete build, but I cant ...

Fitting a small top mount intercooler to a 2L-T
Hi there, It has been suggested to me that it would be beneficial to add a small top mount intercooler (no room for a front mount) to a 2L-T (then add bonnet scoop to aid air flow). Similar sized intercooler to that installed in Pajero diesel's etc. The only other performance mod to my Surf will be ...

Hi Richard, Thank you for your welcome. I look forward to getting out there with some local guys and seeing what the Wellington (and nearby) region has to offer! Your Lux is extremely impressive - I have keenly watched your videos and taken in as much of your advice as I can. I do hope to hold on my ...

Re: Greetings Folks
The rated hooks is the most important thing cause they will get you anywhere,Dont matter then if you get stuck, cause we will know you and trust you and your truck and recover you, We will not be so keen to retrive you if we are placeing ourseleves and others in danger. Rated tow hooks are $20 ...

Re: Greetings Folks
Thanks very much for the replys guys. Sorry - I should have mentioned in my initial post that I have essentially got the truck ready to join the local club; eg fire extinguisher, rated and professionally fitted hooks, necessary recovery equipment etc etc. I have taken it out several times already ...

Greetings Folks
Hi all, I have been scoping out the forums for a wee while now, but thought it was time to introduce myself! Im pretty new to 4x4ing, and a couple of months back picked myself up a standard-ish 88 Surf (front IFS). Im based in Wellington, so anyone nearby, make yourself known, Im always keen to head ...
