fj reversing in low range
reversing down nasty long track in low range to recover a surf my transfer case lever jumped into neutral, could have been a whole lot worse!
what would cause this, ?
(not my leg ,already bent lever over)

been on gymk to day and 1 hazard was a wheel / chassis articulation test, i did really badly only getting to 3, where the winner got up the ramp to 10 ( whatevas), how to improve my artic with out going to CO, have 100 mm hangers and leafs ( 1974 ) stuffed air shocks) please comment, cheers wazza ...

how do these work, the foot break still works ?, some rigs i see have 2 levers and others four, are the fiddlers just rear, how do these get plumbed in , (yes i know there are diff lock levers as well), cheers W

as you said diesal from other side so no good to you, i looked at the same snorkrl for my rig but would only be good for a 6 cyl not a 8 due to diametrer of intake, bend one up , or use straight pipe with those cool rubber elbows you get but watch the cost!! had one of these on my old 2f and it ran ...

ifyou change the mounts and rails it will need recertifacation
if you un bolt the seat and bolt the new seat to the existing mounts its ok,
i have monza aftermarket seats in my fj, and i had to keep the existing rails frame etc to avoid the recert, w

noisey magpies annoy me early early in the morning. they are out of shot gun range for sure, and almost 22 magnum range. the distance from my deck to the required fence is about 200 m ( not yards ) at this range some of my allies said a 22 magnum would be ideal to rid myself of these birds ( 5 of ...

i have always used federal premium which are a light 30 grain ammo, but can no longer get these in the wairarapa, so have switched to 50 grain hornaby with little plastic tips on the end, shot 2 groups of 5 , adjusted scope, re check , sweeet, dont be in a hurry to sight it in , shoot a few groups ...

i bought mine new, the advice i got was to shoot 50 shots, but over 5 times, this was due to the barrel temp, as it tends to warm up, so i shot 5 groups of 10 , each group 15 min apart. so i did and all ok warwick,

have a neighbour with same gun but older , he complains about the barrel etc getting very DIRTY. i have cleaned my gun only twice in 5 yrs and have fired alot of ammo, i think its the way he carries it when hes out!! , he uses a 50 grain ammo thou and i use a 30 ? warwick
