With the good exchange rate at the mo i'm thinking about getting some bits from these guys in the US for my 413. Is their samurai the same as our 413?

I'm redoing my front bumper & mounting through the holes in the chassis rails. I'll be putting in crush tubes, just wondering where other guys have mounted their tow hooks? Thought about welding an extended plate to the chassis & just bolting through that. Any suggestions?

I'm after some stock suzuki rims with tires to keep my chassis rolling while I work on it. Don't need to be flash just need to keep it off the ground.

I recently purchased a 410 tcase (cheers suzookyman) to put in my 413. What is required to form the rocklobster from these 2 units? I know this has probably been asked heaps on here but thought would be easier to ask again than trawl through old posts.

I'm after an 8v 1600 as complete as possible ( starter, alternator, manifolds etc) for transplant into sj413.

The 1300 in my '85 413 has given up the ghost. I'm after some info on the more common, cost effective engine swaps that are out there. I see some guys with the 1600, some with the twin cam 1300 and others with the 4age. I guess each have there pros and cons. My knowledge is slim but have plenty of ...

Can anyone out there in the Auckland/Rodney area recommend a good auto parts store for things like U bolts, suspension bushes, shocks etc. Been to a couple of places recently and they left alot to be desired.

Cheers suzookyman. Just had a look on TM. Definetly looks like a good buy. He doesn't seem to be sure whether its 410 or 413 though. I'm in Helensville just out of Auckland.

Is there options in regards to changing diff gearing, or are you pretty limited there? New to the game so just trying to find out as much as possible before i get stick in.

After some long travel shocks for my 413. Has 1" shackle lift and 2" lifted springs. Any ideas on what works well in this set up? Also what are other guys using to adjust gearing for bigger tyres etc. Cheers

Was wondering the best way to gain articulation without lifting 413 to high. Want to keep reasonable point of balance. Also wondered about 1.6 16 valve and auto combo in 413. Is this possible and worthwhile?

HI there. I am new to four wheeling and have just purchased a 413 with a 1"shackle lift. I have also just come into posession of some 2" lifted springs. Is this a safe combination of lift? Is there any steering mods required? I am hoping to fit 31"tyres.
