Having cracked two 4m40 heads this is what i did to solve the problem 1 Replace radiator. Own a 96 Mitzi Challenger. Have pulled front hubs apart countless times. That "ring thing" is part of the CV and should not be loose. However you will need to remove the hub to fix it. If it cannot be tightened by crimping suggest two very small welds. You don't want to upset the balance of the axle ...

How does one test a viscous fan.My fan has some resistance when cold but does not get any stiffer when hot. I thought the fan should stiffen up as it gets hotter, any ideas.

I'd like to thank everyboby for thier help.After extensive head scraching, testing, the technicians have found a fault in the throttle control sensor.Having this replaced will test and hopefully confirm problem solved. will keep you informed.

I have a rear set of ARB 50mm lift springs only 3year old if these are of use to you contact me Have had a new set made to give 75mm lift on rear also done top end filp front and wind up T bars 50mm

Hi Waypa here. The picture is of my truck. The adjustment of the sway bars is very easy to do. You only need to do a ball joint flip if you use up all the travel space. Yes Challengers do have a tendancy to tripod rear wheels, however I don't think this is any worse than most Surfs I have seen.On ...

I to have a 96 2.8 D and would also be looking at rear U/V joints, possible problems with slippery diff. Find some body who will let you exchange shafts,this will tell quicky and cheeply if problem is in SHAFT OR U/V JOINTS.
