If it cannot be tightened by crimping suggest two very small welds. You don't want to upset the balance of the axle ...

Having trouble with my auto transmission. Cruising down the motorway at 80ks put foot hard to floorboard to pass. Truck has no power, just slowly picks up speed. However, when I flick the overdrive off it goes like a rocket. It would appear that it is not kicking down. Recently had secondhand TCS ...

viscous fan

How does one test a viscous fan.My fan has some resistance when cold but does not get any stiffer when hot. I thought the fan should stiffen up as it gets hotter, any ideas.

Re: Virgin Challenger

Hi Waypa here. The picture is of my truck. The adjustment of the sway bars is very easy to do. You only need to do a ball joint flip if you use up all the travel space. Yes Challengers do have a tendancy to tripod rear wheels, however I don't think this is any worse than most Surfs I have seen.On ...

Re: 96 mitsi challenger

I to have a 96 2.8 D and would also be looking at rear U/V joints, possible problems with slippery diff. Find some body who will let you exchange shafts, this will tell quicky and cheeply if problem is in SHAFT OR U/V JOINTS.
