TD42 Radio Antenna Replacement
I'm getting tired of replacing the mast on the electric antenna model. Looking for a flexible permanent replacement to do the job. Keen to hear from those who've done this and what they used. In the process of removing the electric motor from the guard. Not keen on coat hanger setups. Cheers for ...

Rear Seats Upgrade? -SWB Safari
New owner of a Y60. Would like to know if anyone has upgraded their rears seats. They come in handy when you got kids. Currently have the narrow two seats between the wheel arch compartments. Bit of a pain if you want to fully recline the driver and passage seats, so removing the compartments. But ...

BJ74 - Rebuild or new motor?
It's been a mare of a week.
I've cooked the 13BT and she needs a rebuild.
Should I rebuild her or look for a upgrade. Contemplating a 1HZ (if I can find one- help if you can).
What other options should I consider in diesel?

Thinking of importing myself, but it might not be worth the trouble due QA issues. Looking more likely getting these locally and fitted for the warranty.

No real preference other then dollars. Mostly touring and hunting wagon usage and the odd play in a 4x4 park. Thinking RD142 (not sure to be honest) since the wagon is 1986.

Nice secondhand one lying around somewhere in this world. It doesn't have to fit the PTO, but fit the Bj74 is a start.

Re: New feet for a BJ74?
but mince pies a side...
I'll stick to the 32\11.5\15 on a set 15*8 rims. She's my daily drive and ocassionally does the school run. Do it once and do it right is the path.
JUZ- I just priced some BFG yesterday, may need to reassess that. Maybe a set of Nankangs instead.

Sorry it is a newbie question -
Wanting to replace my 31/10.5/15 AT KUHMO tires with some muddies. How big can I go without modifying my truck? Looking at a set of BFG at this stage, but open to suggestions.

She's done 206K. Everything on her is stock exception to a snorkel fitted. Used as a hunt'n'fish wagon ,but hasn't seen much action on account of a young family. Used mostly as daily drive in jaffaville. Good condition for it's age. Couple of scrapes on the exterior, but nothing serious. Interior is ...

The EF Alternator is 110amp
Yes its for the winch and spotties on the front and roof. It's all in the planning stage.
If the standard one can handle it...I'll leave it out

It doesn't bother me much in the city, but a recent long drive down the line, drove the nail in. 94 SWB Vit- the gap between door and frame start to whistle around 100km.
