Hi, wouldn’t mind a sliding rear window in my 2003 hilux.
Does any window from earlier models fit or need one for a similar year to mine?
Thanks

Hilux vs Prado
I’ve got a VZN167 Hilux and there’s some extractors on trademe to suit a 90 series Prado, does anyone know if they will fit?
Pretty sure the hilux and prado chassis are a bit different, torsion bar vs coil over?
Thanks

Flat Deck wanted
Anyone got an flat deck lying around they want to get rid of? Want to put a flat deck on my 2003 double cab hilux. Can modify/repair but it’ll be cheaper to start with something rather then start from scratch.
I’m located in Dannevirke but could travel.
Thanks

265/75R16 All terrain Tyres and rims for swap
Hey guys, I brought a new hilux recently and it’s got a set of 5x 265/75/16 Mickey Thompson ATZ P3 tyres on 16” alloys in very good condition (4x be atleast 90% and the 5th is brand new) I want to swap for a set of 32 or 33” mud tyres on rims, either 15x8 -22 or 15x10 -44. Let me know if your inter ...

Re: 2000+ Hilux
Appreciate your reply, very helpful, thanks.
I didn’t realise they were torsion bar front, just assumed they were struts like a 185 surf. Good food for thought as I like the way my current hilux drives on road (and it’s got half a million kays on it!)
Anyone have any experience with the v6?

Hey, Looking at getting rid of my 05 Hilux diesel and replacing it with the previous model v6 or 2.7 petrol. The model code is either vzn167 or rzn167 correct? Is an extra cab v6 an option or just double cab? Any big pros or cons with these? Things to pay attention to when buying? Also what about ...

Re: Hankook Dynapro MT WTB
Thanks for the offer mate, I’ll pass tho, I’ve replaced the tyre with a random spare I had lying about for now, ideally I’d like to find one dynapro in the future to replace it with so they all match again. Might get the one with a hole repaired for a spare because it seem like a waste to throw it aw ...

Hi, recently got my hands on a 1KD KUN26 hilux. Looking at a few adaptor options for different engines and there’s 2 different input shaft lengths for the R151F gearboxes. Can anyone confirm that 160mm input shaft is from a 1KZ hilux, Prado etc and 190mm is what will be in my hilux? Most adaptors w ...

I’d love a Ute like that Andrew! Cheers crash, good to know. Took a 70 series cruiser for a drive yesterday with a 1kz and manual, definatly not for me, I’d get frustrated with the lack of power. Just drove the 70 to see what that engines like. Now I’ve been looking at 2000+ hiluxs with the 3rz 2.7. ...

Awesome stuff mate, you don't piss around!
Post a video when ya got it up and running, bet it will be fun even without boost.
Is 180kw at the engine? A factory rating for that engine? And how does that compare to a 3.5 pajero?

Re: paj1 build up
Also do you have any info on that engine? Like the year etc? Reason I ask is my 3.5 runs out of puff at about 5500 rpm yet the rev limiter is at somewhere just over 7000. The cams from the engine you have might be different and might make power higher in the rpm range which I'd like, and drop ...
