Ok so i should control boost with my fuel and with wastegate? Like I said earlier ute has done approx 20,000km like this and been reliable ive towed cars from one end of the country to the other and all sorts... Anyone got any suggestions on a better turbo to suit? Something that will run 20psi plus ...

Yea boost gauge is definately correct my EBC has digital display which is same as the manual boost gauge, wouldnt have a clue what inlet temps are.
Should i lower the boost with wastegate or by decreasing fuel? Anyone got any pros or cons with this?

So im guessing I should wind the boost down then? I am controlling the boost with the fuel and not running any form of wastegate, is this a good idea? I figure that controlling the boost this way is better for the engine rather than having for example enough fuel for 25psi boost but regulating it ...

I have digital boost controller and found that turning boost down makes EGTs skyrocket!!
