Terrano WD21 Gearbox issue
I've got a 93 Facelift WD21 Terrano. Most of the time it runs fine, gearbox changes smoothly etc. Occasionally when I take off from an intersection the gearbox will refuse to change up, it just sits in 1st. The only way to get it to change is to quickly turn engine off and then on again and it works ...

Re: Rhino Rack Ripoff
Here is the reply from the NZ distributor Facebook page: "Hi there Marty, just checked out our websites. The part number this refers to is 45107B and they price up as $1009 AU and $1315 NZ. NZ pricing takes into account the exchange rates and freight component." So they appeared to have plucked the ...

Rhino Rack Ripoff
I'm quite keen on a Rhino Rack Pioneer tradie to sit on my roofbars.
I saw the rack on the aussie Rhino Rack page, $1009AU or $1079NZ.
Imagine my shock when I saw the price on the NZ Rhino Rack site, $1914NZ.
A big thanks to the NZ importer for further encouraging kiwis to shop offshore.

Nissan Safari LWB ($20K plus spent)
I have finally relented to the handbrake nagging and am looking for interest in my nearly finished Safari project. There has been a huge amount of money spent thus far, well in excess of $20K. I will try and list everything below that I can recall as well as what needs doing to finish. - Motor fully ...

Re: winch.co.nz your service sux
I purchased a 24v winch from them a few months back. A 12v winch was sent by mistake but they arranged for it to be collected and sent a replacement and let me keep an extra cable and hook for my troubles.
So it took an extra week but they did get the issue sorted.

Re: Highway Cops TV1 tonight
Recovering from the bull bar is bad enough but why loop it round the very outside bar???
Surely they should have had enough sense to loop it around the centre closer to a mounting point?
Vehicle won't be that flash now anyway unless that was all freshwater pouring out of it.

Didn't really like the layout of the lower control area so decided to change things around a bit. Purchased some carbon sheet from C-Tech, this stuff is incredibly strong even .5mm left on a corner cut is nearly impossible to pull off! Anyway, cut out the holes with grinder/dremel and used gorilla ...

Not sure if it would affect the rear fan but drop the front fan out of the case and make sure it isn't blocked.

The hoses for the rear heater go through the firewall below the master cylinder, hard up against the side guard. I pulled mine out yesterday. If you trace them back from the firewall you should be able to figure out which ones to connect/disconnect. The other ones you mention running through the ...

Stock seems fairly limited. If you select blue as the light colour only two switches are in stock.
Another good source is www.mudstuff.co.uk. They supply 24v switches as well which is handy for the dual battery crowd.
