Re: Gen 1 4.875 Diffs Front and Back For Sale

10 bolt 8" diff in the rear from memory, drum brakes, leaf sprung. Am pretty certain it's a 7.5" diff up front looks to be the same size as my Starion diff anyway).

I knew it would be a slim chance but thought it might be worth checking out :P

Re: Gen 1 4.875 Diffs Front and Back For Sale

are the 4.875 ratio diffs LSD by any chance? Also do you know what size they are? Am wondering if they'll fit into my 4.875 ratio Delica.

Oh, and where are you located?

Thanks,
Phil

Re: Engine Swap out time??

if you can find one a 4M41T 3.2 would be a good swap - a direct bolt in replacement almost given the 4M41 is the bigger capacity version of the 4M40T - just the 4M41T is finally modernised with a DOHC 16V head and common rail fuel injection, about 125kW and heaps of torque with reduced fuel ...

Re: URGENT WTD: 16" rims

If you get stuck, I've got some 16x7s with about +20-30 offset (have yet to take rims off to confirm exact width and offset) with a pair of Savero HT tyres with 6mm tread, and a pair of Wrangler AT/R tyres one with 3mm tread the other not up to WOF standard - all 225/70 R16 size. http://i97 ...

Re: Gen 2 4wd system

yep there's a few early shape V6 L200 2WDs floating about with R5M22 or KM132 box, which is nearly identical to my original KM132B 'Starion' box - ie weak and wont stand up to the power. The box I'm after is a later model (late 90s/early 2000s) Triton V6 2WD box, which is a R5M31 which is more or ...

Re: Gen 2 4wd system

Thanks, perhaps I could get you to help me out with fab/custom work as I go along, as I too need to make up exhaust manifolds and sort out the rear water pipe along with modifying my alloy sump to clear the crossmember. I have access to CAPS (Mitsubishi's parts program) also if you need part numbers ...

Re: Gen 2 4wd system

The SOHC engines have a different spacing and bolt pattern of the water outlet flanges off the back of the heads, so the pipe which joins the two heads together and flows towards the water pump of the Pajero 6G72 engine wont bolt up to the GTO motor, same deal with the 3.5 DOHC water pipe, the ...

Re: Gen 2 4wd system

stock injectors definitely aren't 560cc - that's what Evo5+ run. I'm pretty sure stock is 365cc or 390cc, about the same as 1.8 GSR injectors. I have the same motor in bits in my shed, as well as a MIVEC 6G72. Have you put any thought into the RWD water routing setup, and the custom exhaust ...

WTB: set of 15" All Terrain tyres

right so I found a set of 15" factory Pajero wheels for my Delica so I'm after some 15" tyres, something around the 30" x 9.5" to 31" x 10.5" range (anything from 215R15 through to 265/70 R15 etc) in All Terrain style or even something a bit more heavy duty/mud gripper like. I'm in Hamilton but ...

Re: newbie to ORE and offroading

haha it is a Mitsubishi so you can count on something breaking, that's for sure! unsure what tyres it has on it at the mo, I picked it up last night and really haven't had the chance to give it a good going over. One of the front tyres is bald and the other front tyre is borderline, while the rear ...

newbie to ORE and offroading

hey guys, my name's Phil and I'm from Hamilton. Am quite heavily into Mitsubishis and just picked up probably one of Mitsubishi's least ideal 4WD machine, a '91 Delica Exceed Van - but it's a 4WD none the less. http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l230/te71se/Delica/deli1.jpg also have a couple of ...
