Re: mounting a front hook
Just off topic slightly - but is a shackle ok on a rated 2500kg towbar in place of the towball for tow purposes? Would this be an acceptable recovery point until i get a rear hook?
just to be clear, this would NOT be used as snatch point.

Re: Terrano Rim help
All depends on the lift you have. The guys running 33"s in the states usually have at least 6" of lift and have trimmed the guards. Many of them have also SAS'd their pathfinders. I have 31x10.5's on 15x8 Steelies -24 offset. The rims that came with the truck were -10. Even with these I get a small ...

I've managed to get the glue off one door with non acetone nail polish remover, but it took forever! will get round to the rest eventually. Try white spirit. It will take the sticky shit off almost anything. Sweet I'll give that a go tonight. Cheers! the best stuff (by far) ive found for removing ...

Was talking to a retailer recently and the kumho distributor is doing some sharp specials at the mo. He quoted me a figure that was in the region of $30 under the regular retailer buy price. He also said that apparantly people are getting up to 70k on these tyres if they're run at 40 psi on the road ...

G'day. Just want some opinions really. Going to be getting some MT's at the end of the month, but haven't decided what i'm gonna get or where. Trucks going to see a mix of off road and tarmac. So while wear is not the top priority, reasonable wear would be nice. Oh, they're going on a Terrano ...
