Re: QD32 conversion
Ok so sorry for the thread dredge but I have questions. So I have a qd32 na Navara and its woefully slow. I have all the bits for Turboing it but I have 1 question. What do I do re fuelling? Will I need to do anything to the pump/ECU to get adequate fuel or will the ecu take care of it using its own ...

Re: mig welding liner
You should be able to get a new teflon liner from any welding supply shop.
If all else fails just go into a BOC and they should be able to sort you out.

I always took my old performance cars to woolf mufflers in Mt Eden.
HOWEVER....a mate of mine owns the pitstop on great north rd in Grey Lynn.
Normally I wouldnt recommend one of the chain stores but AJ really does know his stuff and is well skilled with turbos and all their bits n shits.

Re: alternator/charge info
I had this exact same problem last week. Battery was 1 month old but dead as a door knob.
Turned out it was the rectifier inside the alternator...$500.
Spoke to a mate last weekend and he works with electrics and told me a rectifier is a $2 part if you know where to get it from.

Is the hub square?
(no im not trying to be a smart arse)
I mean is it even slightly warped or bent?
Make sure its straight/flat/square...cos im sure being slightly out of square wouldnt help.
Just a thought.

Re: top mount or front mount intercooler kzj71
A factory fitted top mount off a GTiR Pulsar is HUGE and is a really well flowing intercooler. Also you can pick them up really cheap off Tardme with all the mounting hardware you should need. Just dont make the Nissan error and mount it over the exhaust manifold...mount it as far back from the ...
Re: air box
Im not sure if your Navara is petrol or diesel or if it has a MAF sensor or map sensor but either way the air filter sits infront of any sensor so just about any kind of airbox and filter combination should work just fine. The air box from a primera or pulsar should fit ok with minor modifications ...

Re: A question about snorkels...
tig welding stainless/mild or ali isnt a problem as i do a fair bit at work.
Also when i make up the mouth/head/top bit would it make a difference if i put a primary filter up there aswell or is that just overkill?
