So after several years of cutting, grinding, welding, collecting parts and repeating this came up for a very reasonable price given the work that has gone into it. So I decided to bite the bullet and buy something so I could go wheeling again instead of just hanging out in Calebs garage making plans ...

So with the arrival of the GQ something has to give and therefore I have a few items for sale: 1uz vvti motor with a 4spd Lexus auto and kzj78 transfercase with pto drive gear- $2500-SOLD Pair of KW fixed back bucket seats in good condition- $300-SOLD Complete 60 series front diff with hydro ram ...

So I went shopping and bought something that is nearly done.... This project will be no more unfortunately.

The previous owner was running one of the 36cc motors with a pump and step-up box. Not 100% sure on the pump size. Was going to run a different setup but now were going a different direction entirely.

Picked my new motor up during the week. Now to find a rear sump setup, finish the transfer case and look at making it fit. Finally some progress.

Got some time this evening so made up a temporary mount for my light bar.

Been working on Caleb's (Filthy4x4) Safari getting it ready for the Manukau WC so progress really has stalled, thats my excuse anyway. Pulled the LJ78 case apart and have started on the cruiser box, the drive gear is going to JRC to have the gear faced so they'll mesh easier. VVTI 1uz should be here ...

You could look at pulling out the thermostat and running one of those Davis Craig electric water pumps with the controller.

Auber egt gauge installed so now i can play with the fuel. Moved a couple 80s around and then dragged Caleb (Filthy4x4) safari into the carport to start the push to try get it ready for the winch comp in october.

Tow wagon moves and the turbo spools. Just got to wait for my egt gauge to arrive and ill start playing with the fuel a bit more.

I bought 1 off Caleb at Filthy4x4. Awesome piece of recovery gear.

Fitted the recon'd torque converter to the tow wagon and started work on fitting the turbo and intercooler. Stupid nissan exhaust studs Should be a completely new truck when its done.
