dissapearing speedo cable
does anyone know if a speedo cable from a 86 surf petrol engine will fit on my 86 hilux double cab diesel. I may have had mine disconnected and the middle seems to have dissapeared into thin air .

I had mine stuck in a river up to the sills at xmas time .It was under for hours by the time I managed to extract myself. My front diff had totally filled with water, when I undone the fill up bung about 2 ltrs of pure water poured out, then after doing the drain bung all the milky oil came out. The ...

We went as far as DOC would allow , which was down Malings pass out onto the flat beside the Waiau river. The biggest part of the trip was from Hanmer to lake tennyson.

I went into st James over malings pass with my 4wd club last month.We were the first club to go in on a trial basis to see how behavior etc by a club went. We went as far as you can go and stopped for lunch, it was a lovely spot. It is not a hard trip and would be suitable for shineys. great place ...

mine was the stalk, a pin had come out the end releasing a spring and ball bearing. 3 stage switch of which 2 still contacted ,but not the 3rd. All good now for the WOF man.

if you are in Christchurch at all, I can show you a few places locally . If you are heading to ch-ch from Picton you may want to take the molesworth track through to hamner or if leaving nelson to ch-ch then you could do the rainbow rd through to hamner. hey dude, plenty of hilux guru's down there, but you may want to post a bit more info about the vehicle, like model code,engine etc. and the tag on the firewall has all the info on it you need if its all standard that is, should tell you what Gbox you should be after etc ok, had a look at tag, it ...
