60 to 70 series springs ? ?

Does anyone know if 60 series leaf springs will fit striaght in to a 70 series? (i don't know the exact model of the 60 series (seller) but i am hoping they will fit my SWB 70 series).

Thanks for that. If I weld everything up the only place I can see for any forwards or backwards flex is the shaft going into the PTO transfer box, which does allow a little movement behind the shaft.
It is too worn to safely use at it is now , so I think I will get the welder out.

Hi All. Put onto this site by a mate from the 'CLROC' club. After afew 'shiney's' have now got an old rough 85 SWB Landcruiser , 3.4 non turbo, 33 tyres, PTO winch (buggered-see my post) and diff lock in rear ,LSD in front. Best fun I've had in years. (will post a photo when I work out how to do it ...

Buggered PTO winch - weld it ?

The PTO winch on my Toyota BJ 70 is very very worn. Is it a good idea to weld up the spline shafts ? (CV's still good). Need to drill out and fit oversize mild steel shear bolt, but hopefully will be able to get some more life out of it yet. Yes I know that if I weld up the shafts the next weakest ...
