I used Selleys Knead it, worked a treat been sweet now for over a year

Preferably in Chch, 92 Terrano or below (not the facelift chrome jobs)

In good working condition, ie loom not cut and glass working and not loose, housing not cracked and smashed

ok cool, then you should already have what you need, just unbolt your existing turbo outlet and bolt on to the new turbo

Terrano II is IS the mistral. Is your Mistral intercooled?

The R20 Mistral one states 10l with overflow tank, but I couldn't get anywhere near this even with a proper drain and flush

I have finally got this all installed and it came up great, everything bolted up, and cooler fit without having to do a body lift. Now just to install the scoop and bellows..... I was just about to ask this very question as im about to fit an intake manifold from a 97 mistral (for a factory top mount intercooler) and aslo doesn't have this connection.

How would you go about disabling this?

You can however convert a TERRANO from an AUTO to a MANUAL

Gonna use a scoop from a bighorn, perfect fit from what ive seen and matches well with the bonnet and doesnt look overkill like some scoops. What did the cooler set u back? Got a bargain with mine, $100 for cooler and both manifolds

The mistral has the factory mounting points for the intercooler, got the cooler and both manifolds as a set, so may as well use them all, then I can delete the egr completely, instead of just blanking it off

Hi Guys Just wondering if anyone can give any pointers on removing my turbo, as in a few weeks im swapping both the intake and exhaust manifolds and replacing them with units from a 98 mistral to install an intercooler Had plenty of turbos over the years but have never had to remove one is it a must ...
