Hi all,

Wondering if anybody has a hilux relay arm that will fit a 1985 single cab hilux.
I can't find an aftermarket one or a 2nd hand one.
Toyota do sell them but at almost half the price of my ute!

Its not real gap just some small stones right beside the hole. If ya dug the bank out and filled it with the gap at the bottom the water wouldn't wash it out. A bobcat is all you need to fill the hole that stopped us.

Possibly because the house looked pretty new. Well there was 2 of them and 7 of us. They also had kids there. I wouldn't listen to them anyway unless they pulled out a persuader because we all know they have no right to stop trucks driving the paper road. Definatly wouldn't leave vehicles parked ...

Entrance is photos 1,7 and 9

Did not see a slip but photos 5 and 11 show where the bank has been blown out (purposly aparently) which is as far as we went. A couple of more capable trucks could probably get through that part.
The track is really overgrown.
The entrance to the track is easy with a winch in and out.

Wouldn't exactly call them friendly but they didnt give us any trouble.

Went two km up Vandy road to find a bit of a washout. Up to there was pretty easy.

Looks awesome mate good on ya. Those towbar tounges look like a good idea i assume they stick through the bar as a recovery point? What is the reasoning behind using a 130 transfercase? Seems like alot of work involved in changing to rear discs, is there any other gain from changing to that diff ...

If you already have a removable towbar you can buy a slide in adjustable drop one from supercheap. Something like $150 but not sure if it would be a 400mm drop.

Why are all the good parts always down south? My wrecker said when he gets one in I can have the front end for $600 which sound pretty good.

Just been to the wreckers today and all prados were ifs coil spring. Could anyone tell me which models were beam/coil setups.

Yea shortening would involve a changing to single cab i guess. What model prado is the 3link? I've been looking on trademe but can't see what setups they have in them.

Eventually I'd like to coil sas my vzn130. Just wondering best models to use for diffs and if I was to shorten the the wheelbase would I be better off changing the diff and suspension or the whole front half of the chassis?
