Re: Tyres for the Beach AT or HT?
Falken T-110 in my honest opinion would be a good option, its an all terrain but not a very aggressive pattern, good road handling and you will get great kms out of them if treated right, They are pretty soft too which will be great for bagging when aired down. I think 265/70-15's would be sweet as

Surf vzn185 front diff lowering?
I have a 50mm spring lift in my surf that actually lifted if 75mm over the old tired factory springs. Now the CV's are at a crazy angle. Can anyone recommend a nz supplier of a diff lowering kit as this sounds like the best way to try get back to a safe cv angle.

VZN185 3.4V6 Surf Snorkel?
Can anybody tell me where I might be able to buy a snorkel to suit my above mentioned truck? There seems to be plenty of stockists for the KZN Diesel version, but for the V6 ideally it needs to be mounted on the drivers side (not passengers side like the diesel) as this is where the air box and ...

Re: 96 Prado with petrol 3.4 V6
We have a vzn185 surf with the same motor and love it. Can go from Dunedin to Wanaka drive around for the weekend in Wanaka and drive back to Dunedin on a tank. Around 600-650kms a tank. That's not towing but still loaded up inside. The yanks love these motors and reckon that they get 300,000miles ...

Re: WTD: SAT tyres (7.50's or 7.00s)
would sell without rims, but would not be any cheaper. If I don't get $500 im happy to keep them. Would have to measure tread depth but be at least 10mm a few small marks in tread but no chucks missing, sidewalls mint.

Re: Using a tube on a damaged tyre
A good vulcaniser may be able to repair it depending on how bad it is, but using a tube with a patch wont last as the tube will rub on the patch and eventually wear a hole in the tube.
