D22 260mm, 6 bolt clutch??
Hi guys, bit of a question for the parts gurus out there. I'm looking at putting the FS5R30A gearbox in my (BD30 powered) Terrano. From what I've read I can get one from a D22 Navara, however looking through the Exedy website shows the QD32 Navara uses a 260mm clutch, instead of the 250 or 240mm ...

Re: How to change td42 fuel cut solenoid?
If its one like in this picture then it should just be a matter of undoing it and putting the new one in. You might have to take a few other things off the pump in order to get at it though

Adjusting the idle screw relieves the governor spring at idle to let the control collar move back down the plunger to decrease the amount of fuel injected at idle ...

Re: Tidy terrano - not for long
Mass air flow is the all important factor in making smoke free power. More boost = higher mass flow, removing restrictions also = higher mass flow. More boost + less restriction = lots of power

Re: Tidy terrano - not for long
When does the turbo start spooling and how much boost while cruising at 100km/h? I'm thinking of putting a TD04 on the BD30 engine I'm rebuilding at the moment.

Re: QD32 conversion
The ZD30 and TD/QD run the same bellhousing pattern ? Those are some impressive kilometers on 60 liters. How much did it change when going for a mechanical type pump ? Im used to dealling with petrol engines hence why i quote hp not torque, lately ive been getting more interested in diesels since i ...

Could it be the torque converter lock up clutch locking and unlocking for some reason. This is only supposed to lock when cruising around 80-100kph

Re: Terrano problems
Would it be possible to put the lockup switch in the wires to the temperature sender, instead of to the lockup solenoid itself?
Im thinking of this to try and get around the tcu not engaging lockup after a while with it unlocked. If that makes sense.

The relief valve is on the intake manifold just behind where the intake pipe from the turbo goes into it.

Re: Terrano problems
Hi All, I have a few annoying issues with my terrano 1991 2.7TD Auto First is the annoying auto lockup. It loves to stay in "5th" when I put my foot down approaching a hill. No matter what trans mode it is in, turning overdrive off just makes it ring its nuts out. I have run the diagnostics and am ...
