Re: CB arial help

Now have two aerials, One shorter s/s, 4.5db and now a longer fiberglass one, 6db which wil be better suited to highway com's. and the s/s one might be better suited to shorter range in trees or scrub where the longer one will snap off. I knew not to cut the cable. :D

Cheers,
Brian.

CB arial help

Hi guys,
I have just purchased a uhf cb radio and need to know of any issues when choosing a position for the arial, I also have a normal radio arial on the front L/H gard and an AM CB arial on the front R/H gard. Are there any issues with having one arial close to another??

Cheers,
Brian.

Toyking Thanks for your reply. furtunatly I didn't wait for a reply to my questions here. In fact it has been so long that I had forgotten all about this post.. Almost all of your hints have been followed. I ended up with another motor from Charlton in gore. Now a 1991 TPI 350. Bought a new fly ...

At a guess I would say that it is your clutch release bearing starting to seize. If you ignore it it will stuff your clutch cover as well.!!
